	the Gold District The Gold District can be compared to the "downtown" of the early 2000's: though many of the stores sell expensive clothes and cars and countless other useless items, the Gold District comes with its fair share of cheap, run-down motels and ratty clubs. The Commons, or as most humans call it, the market, is an open-aired park where humans and daemons alike come to spend and make money, either by selling their possessions or their bodies. Despite the fair amount of officers scanning the market on all occasions, crime is not an uncommon occurrence. Oftentimes, crimes against humans go unpunished while those against daemons are returned with severe consequences.

After the world ends, someone has to take charge.

After the bloodiest war in history, earth was left a barren, uninhabitable wasteland. But thirteen shadowed figures rose from the ashes of the past, naming themselves the daemons. These daemons had been there to see the first great civilization grow and prosper, and they were determined to be there for the last. So they helped the humans create a paradise, dubbed Victory City, and all they asked in return was to be given high-power positions within the city.
Though exactly how the Thirteen rose into power is cloaked in mystery, they did. They now rule Victory City with iron fists and cold smiles, giving their children priority over the humans that once worshipped them as gods. Once again, daemons are in control, and humans beg for their rights.
But something is brewing within the trees outside the city. Humans have formed a sociotey, under the radar, and are living there in peace. But who’s to say someone isn’t planning a rebellion?
