After the bloodiest war in history, earth was left a barren, uninhabitable wasteland. But thirteen shadowed figures rose from the ashes of the past, naming themselves the daemons. These daemons had been there to see the first great civilization grow and prosper, and they were determined to be there for the last. So they helped the humans create a paradise, dubbed Victory City, and all they asked in return was to be given high-power positions within the city.
Though exactly how the Thirteen rose into power is cloaked in mystery, they did. They now rule Victory City with iron fists and cold smiles, giving their children priority over the humans that once worshipped them as gods. Once again, daemons are in control, and humans beg for their rights.
But something is brewing within the trees outside the city. Humans have formed a sociotey, under the radar, and are living there in peace. But who’s to say someone isn’t planning a rebellion?
